Description

You can locate these reports in the Reports tab of the Gigya Console.

 

This section provides partners using the Game Mechanics platform with reports that show user activity. For most reports you can select the Sites, Range, Start and End Dates, Context ID, and Challenge ID.

 

Note: The Game Mechanics report pages are visible only if Game Mechanics is part of your site package and has been activated by Gigya. 

 

In the reports you select the challenge from a drop-down menu, where the challenges are divided into Enabled challenges, Disabled challenges, and All:

*Note: The "Challenges" dropdown menu contains up to 50 challenges, which appear in descending order according to their popularity amongst end-users.

 

Top Users

Gigya tracks and counts the actions performed on the site and displays the highest ranking users in the specified achievement. This is calculated based on the actions the users performed on the site.

 

 

New Users by Challenge

Gigya tracks and counts each new user participating in any of the challenges, and then displays in a graph the number of new users who start participating in each of the challenges a day:

Gigya tracks and counts how many users are participating in each of the challenges, and then displays this in a graph:

 

 

New Users by Level

Gigya tracks and counts how many new users advance to the next level in each of the challenges, and then displays how many new level users there are per each level in a graph:

Gigya tracks and counts how many users are participating in a given challenge, and then displays how many users there are per each level in a graph:

 

Daily Activity

Gigya tracks and counts the actions performed on the site, and displays in a graph the number of times each of the actions was performed per day on your site for the specified challenge:

 



 

Daily Accrued Points  

Daily accrued points presents a daily breakdown of points earned per challenge, showing you which days hold more user engagement on the fields that are associated with your challenges.
This report does not factor redeemed points (i.e if users earn a total of 500 points on a certain day, and redeem 200 points, the  report will show 500, rather than 300).

 

 

Note: The data for this report is cached for 15 minutes.

Daily accrued points is a new late development of Game Mechanics that was introduced in 2014. Points accrued prior to its release will not be displayed. 

 

 

 

Daily Redeemed Points  

Daily redeemed points presents a daily breakdown of points redeemed per challenge.
This report shown an aggregate of redeemed points and does not factor accrued points (i.e if users earn a total of 200 points on a certain day, and redeem 200 points, the  report will show 200, rather than 0).

 

 

Note: The data for this report is cached for 15 minutes.

Daily accrued points data is stored as of the release of Gigya version 5.2. Points accrued prior to the version 5.2 will not be displayed. 

 

 

Redeemable Points by Challenge

The Redeemable Points report displays an updated status of the total spendable points across your website's user base.

This allows you to keep track of the total points accumulated by your users per challenge. The Redeemable Points are calculated by aggregating all the points earned by your users per challenge and subtracting the total points redeemed by users per challenge.
