Phase 1 - Opening an External Application in RenRen

1. Go to the following URL: http://dev.renren.com/app .
2. Click on the button located at the top right corner (as shown in the image below).
   
   
3. On the next screen:
   • First field - choose the option on the right
   • Second field - enter your name
   • Fourth field - enter your address
   • Fifth field - enter your zip code
   • Sixth field - enter your email address
   • Seventh field - enter your phone number
   • Eigth field - enter IM details
   • Ninth field - enter emergency contact name
   • Tenth field - enter emergency contact phone number

4. Click the blue button on the bottom left when done.
5. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.
6. Open the email, and click the confirmation link.
7. Click the blue button on the page that opens.

8. Choose the option on the right.
   
    
9. Enter the application name.
10. Check the second checkbox and press the save button.
    
    
    
     
11. Choose your application from the list

12. Save your API Key and Secret Key and then choose the first red option

13. On the next screen, please select the second option from the bottom on both drop-down menus.
14. Enter your description and insert your site's base domain (without the http prefix).
15. Upload your 16x16, 48x48, 75x75 and 100x100 icons and click the blue button.
    
    
     
16. Click on the blue button to approve.
    
    
    
    A blue window with a line of text will follow, meaning that you have successfully created your application.
     
17. On the left menu, please click on the second tab.
    
    
    
     
18. In the starred field, please enter: http://socialize.gigya.com and click the blue button.
    
    Optional: If you are planning on configuring a domain alias (CNAME), please insert your alias sub domain (CNAME value) instead of 'socialize.gigya.com' and your domain instead of Gigya's domain. i.e. "http://[YOUR-ALIAS-SUB-DOMAIN].yoursite.com/" in the first field, and "yoursite.com" in the second field.
    
    
19. Click on the blue button to approve.
    

A blue window with a line of text will follow, meaning that you have successfully updated your application.

Phase 2 - Configuring RenRen's Application Keys in Gigya's Website

1. Go to the Dashboard section of Gigya's website.
   Note: If you are not signed in to Gigya, please go to http://www.gigya.com/ and sign in.
    
2. Press the "Site Settings" button that corresponds to the domain you wish to configure. You will be redirected to the "Site Settings" page.
   

   

   
    
3. Paste your keys (the 'API Key' and the 'Secret Key' from phase 1) in the corresponding places:
   
   
    
4. Click the "Save Settings" button (located at the lower right-hand corner of the page).

That's it, RenRen's configuration is complete!  Please note that it might take up to 10 minutes for our system to become synchronized with RenRen.
